ÍON ~ian~, meaning pure in Irish, is our branded service offering, encompassing the MCR Group’s desire to develop a strategy of sustainably and ethically providing Cleaning, Security, Engineering and Personnel services to our clients. ÍON harnesses the latest technology and innovations in order to minimise the environmental impacts our business processes have. ÍON is only successful with all stakeholders working together – our company, our employees and our clients.

Our ÍON service is a client focused, innovation driven initiative, developed to provide an ethically and environmentally sustainable alternative to conventional supply chain partners.

Utilising our ÍON technologies, MCR Cleaning provides a comprehensive cleaning package that is chemical and single use plastic free, low carbon and energy efficient.

Through our ÍON initiative:

  • we provide a chemical free cleaning service
  • we utilise the latest in water saving technology
  • we provide energy saving
  • we exclusively use sustainable and reusable products
  • all our operations are single use plastic free
  • we use an electric fleet of vehicles, dramatically reducing the carbon footprint of our operations

As part of our investment and commitment to our ÍON initiatives, the ÍON initiative from MCR has been shortlisted for the Green Professional Services Award and the Sustainability Team of the Year Award at the Green Awards 2020.
