ÍON – Environmentally Friendly Service Offering

MCR Group launched ÍON (meaning pure in Irish) in 2019. Our ÍON service is an award winning, client focused, innovation driven initiative developed to provide an ethically and environmentally sustainable alternative to conventional supply chain partners. Working with environmentally conscious clients, we have developed an eco-friendly, carbon conscious approach to cleaning and currently service some of Ireland’s premium commercial and corporate spaces.

Through our ÍON initiative:

• we can use chemical free and plant based cleaning practices
• we can offer our clients cutting edge water and energy saving technology
• we use sustainable and reusable products where possible
• we use rPET and recyclable products
• the materials we use are high quality, durable and reusable
• we use an electric fleet of vehicles, dramatically reducing the carbon footprint of our operations
• we operate a paper-less, cloud based reporting and contract management system

Our ÍON service is not just limited to cleaning services as it applies to Security, Personnel and Engineering divisions – for example, use of electric vehicles (pictured below) and paperless reporting/communication.

Local Sponsorship

MCR Group is proud to regularly support communities and sporting groups on a local and national level including the Donegal GAA Ladies Team, Donegal Senior Men’s Team as well as soccer and rugby clubs throughout the country. Other notable examples include sponsoring Irish Olympian runner, Mark English, who has 4 European Championship medals and recently competed in the 800m 2022 championship, securing the Bronze medal in Munich.

We believe it is essential to support clubs and sporting groups in order to sustain a sense of community.

Community Clean Ups

MCR management regularly arrange local clean ups targeting areas of Dublin City, surrounding beaches and healthcare sites. As an environmentally conscious organisation, we believe it is imperative to promote a culture of giving back while helping the environment by volunteering time removing rubbish and harmful waste from our communities.
