Our Commitment & Impact

ESG MILESTONES

Development of MCR Green Team

MCR Group’s Green Team are a team of internal staff members responsible for ensuring our day-to-day operations are as sustainable as possible. The 14-strong Green Team, which includes 5 members of senior management meet on a weekly basis to discuss and implement sustainable and ethical practices across MCR Group and on our client’s sites. The Green Team monitor energy usage, waste management, and other environmental factors, striving for continuous improvement in our environmental performance.

Conversion to Electric Fleet

Our aim is to switch 100% our nationwide fleet of fuel/fossil fuel-based vehicles to electrically powered vehicles by 2030. As a preventive measure, we have fitted speed restrictors to all our fossil fuel company vehicles. This is expected to reduce our fossil fuel consumption by 8% annually, further contributing to our carbon reduction goals

Digitalisation and Paperless Operations

MCR Group has embraced digital technologies for internal and client communications, reporting, and training. This shift to digital tools reduces the need for paper, significantly cutting down on waste and our carbon footprint.

Training and Staff Engagement

MCR Group strongly emphasises employee training and awareness to cultivate a culture of sustainability and environmental responsibility across our workforce. Our training initiatives not only bolster the operational efficiency and sustainability of our services but also ensure that our employees’ actions are in harmony with our ESG objectives.

Diversity and Inclusion

Our goal is to achieve a workforce that reflects the diversity of the communities we serve, with ongoing training and policies to enhance inclusivity.

Community Engagement

We aim to increase our local community support by 50% over the next five years, deepening our impact and connection with local initiatives.

Charitable Donations
